Basics Of Stunt Driving - Practice Class

Learn the basics of driving on set, the etiquette, the basic breaking techniques, the safety regulations, and all you need to do most simple and some complex maneuvers safely. The "Basics of Stunt Driving - Theory Class" is a prerequisite to book this class. Each student will be accompanied by 1 instructor at all times, and will be guided every step of the way until the basics are absorbed as much as possible. Progress is very fast. Both blocks of 5.5 hours will include 3 solid hours of stunt driving and applying the notions learned in the theory class, as well as 2 hours of drilling and precision driving, driving both forward and backwards. Students coming to the first block can assist to the second block, and students coming to the second block can come early to assist to the first block. PRECISION DRIVING: - During the first hour, the instructors will be closely supervising the students to make sure they understood all the material seen in the theory class. The students will be performing a series of drills and maneuvers while properly managing the gas and break pedals. Backwards steering reflexes will have to become an acquired skill in that process. - During the second hour, if permitted by the instructors, the students will be riding on their own executing a series of drills and maneuvers. STUNT DRIVING: - During the first hour, the instructors will be closely supervising the students to make sure they understood all the material seen in the theory class. - During the second hour, the instructors will keep it to a minimum with a few tips here and there, but open to questions, to make sure the students develop fast decision making and trouble solving reflexes. - During the third hour, if permitted by the instructors, the students will be riding on their own executing a series of drills and maneuvers. BEHAVIOR CONSTRAINTS: - No cell phones allowed anywhere in the cars while the students are driving. If you need to take or make a call, or use your phone for any reason, please advise one of the instructors so he can guide you off the track to a safe spot. - Any verbal or physical abuse or violence towards oneself or others will not be tolerated and will result in an automatic expulsion from the course and premises with no refund.
